This page explains what information BioFormen collects when you use the site and how it is used.
What we collect
When you use the bio generator, you provide information such as your age, city, interests, and the app you are using. This information is sent to our server to generate your bios. It is not stored after the request completes.
We automatically receive your IP address with each request. We use it only to apply a rate limit (10 generations per hour per IP) and do not log or store it beyond that.
Third-party AI processing
The information you enter in the generator is sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to produce your bios. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy. We do not send any personally identifying information: the generator does not ask for your name, email, or any contact details.
Local storage
After you generate your bios, a flag is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site can show you your results on your next visit. This data stays in your browser and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Cookies
BioFormen does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Standard WordPress session cookies may be set for administrative purposes but are not used on public pages.
Analytics
We do not currently use any third-party analytics service on this site.
Your rights
Since we do not store personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question about data handling, contact us at contact@bioformen.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
